CORRECTIONAL MINISTRIES INSTITUTE
For more than 35 years, the Institute for Prison Ministries, Wheaton College Billy Graham Center, has been on mission to improve and increase the knowledge and special skills of individuals who lead the incarcerated to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and who disciple professing Christians behind bars and following their release. Correctional Ministries is an umbrella term that better describes who we serve – Christians serving in youth detention, jail, prison, reentry and reintegration, families and children of the incarcerated, corrections staff, and victims. While our name has changed, our mission is the same.
The Correctional Ministries Institute offers exceptional training, guidance, and inspiration for caring Christians serving in correctional ministry
The Correctional Ministries Institute is committed to providing opportunities for like-minded individuals and organizations to work together for the sake of the gospel.
The Correctional Ministries Institute offers cutting-edge resources to equip the church in correctional ministry for restoring and transforming lives.
WITHOUT SALVATION, TRANSFORMATION CANNOT HAPPEN
The primary purpose of the Institute is to improve and increase the knowledge and special skills of individuals who lead prisoners to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who disciple professing Christians in prison and following their release, and, who work to influence the criminal justice system to embody Christian principles
Reaching the people who desperately need to hear the good news, especially in a time of fear and uncertainty.
