Answering the Call
Answering The Call is our 11-week, in-prison training for Christ-followers to live focused lives of witness and discipleship.
ATC equips participants to develop relationships and communicate the gospel naturally, with gentleness and respect, and to disciple Christ followers toward maturity in Christ. By the end of the training, participants are able to:
- Describe the call to make disciples
- Define what it means to be spiritually lost, a disciple, a witness and an evangelist
- Describe the model of prayer, care, share and stay there
- Be motivated and confident about sharing the gospel and their personal transformation story
- Assist other Christ-followers to grow in their faith
If you are interested in delivering the Answering the Call training to the incarcerated, complete the online training to become a Certified Trainer.
TRAINING MATERIALS
Once you register you will be mailed a copy of the Participant Workbook, Trainer Manual, and DVD. You can wait to start the online training after receiving the manuals or begin immediately using the electronic version of the manuals.
TRAINING TIME
Approximately 45 minutes per lesson (10 lessons) to complete all the requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: For each lesson you will be required to:
- Listen to a brief audio with accompanying powerpoint
- Read the Participant and Facilitator manual
- Add notes, personal examples, questions
- Complete the Bible Study without looking at the Trainer Manual for answers
